About

Small by design.

Quantium Insights LLC is a specialist analytics practice registered in Silver Spring, Maryland, working with governments, United Nations agencies, universities and funders on questions where the evidence has to hold up.

What we are

Health workers reviewing microplanning sheets outdoors
Microplanning for an immunisation round, the decision our models are built to inform.

We are deliberately narrow. Rather than general data services, we concentrate on problems that recur in immunisation, HIV and epidemic response: estimating burden where it is not directly observed, targeting scarce resources across many small areas, forecasting where a programme is about to slip, and building tools that let a government team do those things without us.

That focus is why we can be held to research standards on a consulting timeline. Several methods we apply for clients were developed and published first: Bayesian subnational burden estimation and spatial clustering of key-population data both appeared in the peer-reviewed literature before they were deployed in a national immunisation programme.

The practice works through two companies under common ownership. Quantium Insights LLC, registered in Maryland, leads international engagements. Its Nigerian affiliate, Quantium Insights Nig Limited (RC 9394620), was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission in March 2026 and is based in Makurdi, Benue State. It contracts with clients in Nigeria. They are separate legal entities, and each signs its own agreements.

We work through consortia when an engagement needs it. Nigeria's national zero-dose programme was delivered jointly with CIDRE by a seven-person team including a co-principal investigator and an implementation science lead.

Dr Amobi Andrew Onovo, PhD, MPH, is an epidemiologist and data scientist who has spent more than fifteen years directing evidence toward high-stakes resource decisions across sub-Saharan Africa. In 2026 he was Principal Investigator of Nigeria's national zero-dose predictive modelling programme for NPHCDA with UNICEF and Gavi, across all 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and 774 local government areas.

Before that he built UNICEF's integrated analytics framework for the AHEAD programme, directed quality metrics and reporting at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, and managed a $15 million USAID-PEPFAR agreement in Nigeria. His Bayesian HIV estimates in EClinicalMedicine were used by the PEPFAR interagency team and Nigeria's National Agency for the Control of AIDS.
